WMI-Serving New Harmony Since 1838 is a look at WMI through the years. At one time there were 144 WMI's in Indiana and 16 in Illinois. The New Harmony WMI was the first and only remaining. The WMI's were part of a larger worldwide Mechainics' Institute that was popular in the 1880s.
